Fixed dental prostheses are a type of prosthesis that is often preferred because it is close to the natural tooth appearance and is easy to use. However, it may not be possible to apply a fixed prosthesis to every patient with tooth loss. If there is no tooth in the mouth or if one end of the edentulous area is left empty, it is not possible to apply a fixed prosthesis. Fixed dentures are attached to two solid and long-rooted teeth at either end of the edentulous area. This fastening process is also called a bridge. In addition, there are fixed prostheses that can be made on a single tooth.

CLEANING AND CARE OF FIXED PROSTHESES
Fixed prostheses are cleaned by brushing like permanent teeth, as there is no need to remove them. However, special prosthetic brushes and special pastes should be used to prevent the materials used in the prosthesis from being deformed. Apart from this, it is useful to go to the dentist regularly for the longevity of the prosthesis. In this way, you will support the long-term use of the fixed prosthesis in your mouth.
